Some examples of our concept designs for Nando’s salt & pepper and menu holder which also functions as a signalling device for use with their ordering system. Our objective was to update their traditional Portuguese cockerel using laser-etched wood, brushed steel and white ceramic. We aimed for a slick, contemporary interpretation of a cockerel – complete with removable crest – which retained some of the natural elements associated with Nando’s.
